Indexing and Classification: 

The UNESCO Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in Education   (RCQE) follows systematic policies in its scientific publications to ensure its access to researchers and decision makers, and promote the spread of specialized knowledge in the field of quality and excellence in education, the following are the highlights of the system of disclosure and classification adopted for the publications of the Scientific Journal of Quality and Excellence in Education:  

Indexing : 

The publication and availability of the scientific journal for quality and excellence in education through several platforms and specialized databases to ensure its reach and spread widely, including:  

• Academic platforms:   The Center’s official website provides rcqe.org  digital repositories for its research publications.  

• The system's databases: The system includes very large bases in Arabic and include most specialized scientific journals in full texts as well as conferences and seminars, etc. 

• Shamaa Database (SHAMAA): Is an Arab educational information network that provides open access to educational research.  

For research published in English, the Center is gradually working to discover it in the following global databases:  Scopus -EBSCO – Google Scholar -Clarivate Analytics  

Classification    

The outputs of the scientific journal are classified for quality and excellence in education according to the following international standards:  

• International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED):  The Centre relies on the ISCED standards for its comparative studies and statistics https://www.uis.unesco.org/en/methods-and-tools/isced  to ensure that the data is consistent with global indicators.

The research published in the Scientific Journal for Quality and Excellence in Education is categorized thematically into key themes that consider the quality and competitiveness of educational systems, evidence-based policies, institutional excellence and educational innovation.  

1. Policies and planning at the level of the quality sector in education.

Education 5.0 refers to the modern wave in the world of education that aims to integrate advanced technologies (such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of things) with a deep focus on the human dimension and ethical values (humanizing education, personal learning, critical thinking and creativity, sustainability and responsibility, and lifelong learning).  

23. Equity in the education of students in all categories in line with global trends in terms of mental health and support for marginalized groups, people with special needs, talented and outstanding individuals, and others.

Employing contemporary methodologies, approaches and methods for quality research in its procedural education: Systematic literature review and meta-analysis (systematic literature review and meta-analysis), and structural equations modeling in their various technical methods (structural equations modeling).
