The Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in education signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Taif University for developing research and academic areas and for reviewing and evaluating university’s preparation programs to be qualified for academic accreditation.

The MOU was signed – at the presence of His Excellence, Dr. Husam Zaman – by Dr. Omar Jalloun, RCQE Deputy Director General and Dr. Turkey Althubaity, Taif University Vice President for Planning, Development, and Community service.

Dr. Jalloun elaborated that the MOU aims at enhancing both parties’ respective relationship in areas related to the development of academic and research processes in a manner that serves their objectives and strategies. “This is the First cooperation agreement with Saudi universities and we express our gratitude to Taif University for their trust”, he added.

On the other side, Althubaity pointed out that RCQE is a hub of expertise in the field of regional educational research and studies. He stated as well that the MOU includes the provision of national and international experts and advisors, conducting evaluation research and studies for the development of university sections, and organizing internal and external workshops on quality and academic accreditation.
