Royal Highness Prince Khalid Al Faisal, Minister of Public Education and Chairman of the regional Center of education Quality and Excellence, issued the commission of Dr. Husam bin Abdul WahabZaman as Director General of the Regional Centre for Quality and Excellence in education for a year. The decision implies identifying tasks entrusted to the Director-General in the following: management of all the financial, administrative and educational activities of RCQE, the proposal of action plan and annual budget breakdown of the center to be presented and accredited by the board of directors, establishing and reinforcing cooperative relations with institutions and national centers and organizations and global centers sharing the mission of RCQE, following up with the implementation of agreements and partnerships with them. Additionally, the tasks include issuing and editing reports specialized in the activities of the center to be presented to the board of directors, representing RCQE legally, in the media and official ceremonies.
Dr. HusamZaman has various experiences with a number of national and international organizations and institutions concerned with issues of quality and excellence in education. Dr. HusamZaman is an associate professor of comparative and international education at Taibah University. He has previously worked as the Founder and Dean of the Deanship of Quality in Taibah University, and the Founder and Dean of the School of Law. After that, he held the position of the assistant of the Deputy of Taibah University Department of Quality and development before commissioning him the Saudi Electronic University to work as a general supervisor on its branch in Madeena.
